Featured Art: BODY OF ART

Original Art by Adriane Dedic

My art quilt, titled Body of Art, is a figurative journey through my life drawing studies.
You can see the influence of my earliest teachers: Michelangelo, Rodin, Egon Schiele, and Gustav Vigeland
in the small human figures that appear as tattoos imprinted on her body.
(See my original art for the tattoos.)

Email ad@myartiststudio.com to see larger photos or schedule a day/time to visit my studio to see the art.

Beckoning Figure2
I added fabrics, rice paper, metallic paper, gauze, ribbon, paint, threads, vellum and even printed on tea bags to transform my single black and white, hand-pulled etching of a nude female emerging from a confined square space. The sharp etched lines contrast with the tactile curved stitched lines and soft lines of my original stone lithographs that I reduced and digitally printed on torn tea bags.
