"Geisha In Gold With Fan" is inspired by my love of Japanese wood block prints and also my fascination of Gustav Klimt's paintings, especially his famous "Woman In Gold".I layered small pieces of fabric, selecting prints with metallic gold motifs, and then hand embroidered and machine stitched the layers to complete the finished collage.
